The beach is fine sand. The beach is gradual for a short distance. The water is clear water. There are good swimming conditions in lukewarm water in the summer. 

There is a straight road to the sea/beach and it is estimated a 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car (1.3 km) to the nearest beach (Garrao) which also have restaurants etc. Other nearby beaches are Ancao and Vale do Lobo. Vilamoura is 8 km away and boasts another beach as well as a Marina with all its restaurants, casino, night clubs etc. You are surrounded by several golf courses. The famous Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo Golf Courses are about 5 minutes away.

Vilamoura Courses are 8 km away. You are spoiled for choice. The airport is about 9 km away. Taxis are available but you will need a car.

Vilamoura Marina with all its restaurants, nightlife and casino is only 8km away. Washer/dryer is in laundry room along with ironing table, iron, and vacuum cleaner. The 4th bathroom is downstairs so that once you come out of the pool you can access it easily.
